Below I have some commonly asked questions/answers;

Do you have pheasant mounts available besides what is listed on your website?

Yes, I typically have more mounts ready to ship, or about ready to go. Please email or call me to see what is available.

Can you mount a pheasant for me in a position I'm looking for?

Yes, I usually can mount a "custom" pheasant mount as long as I have the inventory in stock.

Can you repair damaged mounts?

Usually I can repair damaged mounts, yes. Though sometimes damage is beyond repair. I can let you know when I look at the damaged mount.

What is your turn around time on a "custom" mount?

Typically around 3-5 months. Though this can vary.

Can I bring in or ship my own pheasant, duck, or goose for you to mount?

Yes. I still mount a limited amount of upland game birds and waterfowl for customers (only 4-6 Giant Canadas each season).

Can you make a habitat base for a mount and attach it to the habitat base?

Yes. Please contact me regarding options.

Do you require a deposit on custom orders?

Yes. Typically around 50%. The remaining balance is due at pick up or prior to shipping.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Check, Card, or cash.

Do you still mount deer and fish?

Unfortunately, I do not. Though I do a limited number of European/deer mounts.

Are you still located at your Crystal Lake shop?

No. I'm not longer located in Crystal Lake, but now work out of Marengo, Illinois. Please contact me for if your interested in dropping off your upland or waterfowl to mount.

You show waterfowl mounts in your photo gallery. Are these mounts for sale?

No. Those are owned by my clients. I can not sell waterfowl unless it's farm raised with a clipped toe and proper tag/papers. Once in a while I have access to farm raised ducks, in which I can legally sell. At this time I do not have any available.

Shipping

Shipping costs can vary depending on what is being shipped. Typically shipping a standard pheasant or duck mount will cost a fixed rated of around $39.00 through FedEx ground. I only ship within the lower 48 states.

If an over-size box is required to ship a custom base, shipping can go up substantially due to an "over-size" charge (charged) by the shipping companies.

Returns

Returns are excepted within 7 days from receiving your mount.

Buyer pays return shipping.

The mount needs to be shipped safely secured to the box to prevent damage.

Once the mount is received I'll mail or credit the credit card used to purchase the mount.
