All mounts are of professional quality, hand picked from a licensed game farm. If you are not satisfied with your pheasant mount you can ship your mount back in the same manor it was shipped to you. Your money will be refunded (excluding shipping costs). Buyer covers cost to ship mount back to pheasant freaks taxidermy.
Pheasant feather coloration can vary from mount to mount. Tail sizes range from 19 inches to 22 inches. Bird coloration can be "reddish/dark" to "yellowish/light" and at times some ring-neck pheasant mounts will have coloration in-between the dark and lighter birds. If you have a preference, please contact pheasant freaks taxidermy.
To prevent possible damage to pheasant skins, all tails are removed during the skinning/decreasing/washing/taxidermy process. This in no way effects the quality or look of the mount. When ready to pack and ship your purchased pheasant mount the tail (on a wire) is once again removed from the mount to prevent damage during shipping and cut down on shipping cost to buyer. Directions are included with each mount as to how to re-install the tail. This is a very quick and easy process!
All my birds are chosen from a number of quality pen-raised/captive licensed game farms.
